Volvo has introduced a particularly cross-country version of the EX30 electric crossover. The new model with an alternative body kit and increased ground clearance has received the traditional Cross Country designation, which the manufacturer has been using for more than a quarter of a century, but only now has decided to apply it to battery models.
Compared to the standard Vovlo EX30, which is technically a close relative of the younger electric cars of the Geely holding, including the Zeekr X, Lynk & Co Z20, Smart #1 and #3, the EX30 Cross Country received a suspension reconfigured for off-road driving and a ground clearance increased by 19 mm. The electric car was also equipped with additional protective plates, darkened body kit elements, special wheel rims with all-terrain tires. For an additional fee, you can order kayak mounts on the roof, a tent, and a towbar. The interior has not changed.
The Volvo EX30 Cross Country comes standard with all-wheel drive, a 422-horsepower powertrain, and a 69-kilowatt-hour battery that lasts 427 kilometers (267 miles). Charging from 10 to 80 percent takes 26 minutes.
