The Vietnamese will build a restomod of the military Willys. The SUV will get a reinforced frame, a new, futuristic appearance, a premium interior and two power plants to choose from: electric or fuel with a 2.3-liter engine. Prices for the restomod start at 79 thousand dollars, or 134 thousand manat.
The Vietnamese company Van Daryl was founded by Daryl Villanueva, a former art director of the advertising agency TBWA\RAAD in Dubai and the owner of the Bandit9 workshop, known for the project of the electric sports car Monaco. The new work of Villanueva’s team is a restomod of the military Willys from the Vietnam War in the style of retrofuturism. There are still a lot of these SUVs on the streets of Saigon, and for 79 thousand dollars any of them can be turned into a fashionable War Truck.
