The jury of the Women’s World Car of the Year (WWCOTY) competition announced the 2025 winners in six categories – from a city car to a luxury sports car. This year’s overall winner will be announced on March 6.
The best city car was the new MINI Cooper, which is sold in versions with an internal combustion engine and electric motors. This model was singled out for its combination of handling, retro style in design and modern technology. Among compact crossovers, the Kia EV3 electric car was noted for its combination of quality, options and price, with approximately the same motivation, the Audi A6 e-tron was named the best large car.
Separately, the Hyundai Santa Fe was singled out, which became the large crossover of 2025. Among SUVs and pickups, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado won, and the Porsche Panamera was named the premium sports car of the year.
Last year, the main winner of WWCOTY was the large electric crossover Kia EV9.
