Chinese car brand Zeekr showed its new 7X crossover for the first time at the Chengdu Auto Show, Car News China reported.
The new electric car will go on sale in its home country at the end of September, and within a year the car will be exported to foreign markets.
The first photos of the Zeekr 7X appeared online in July 2024. The length of the electric crossover is 4825 mm, the wheelbase is 2925 mm. It is 75 mm longer, 10 mm wider and 32 mm higher than its most famous competitor – the Tesla Model Y.
The 7X looks like a higher version of the Zeekr 007 electric sedan, the price starts at 83 thousand manat.
The Zeekr 7X adopted some of the stylistic and technical solutions from the 007 sedan, including smooth contours of the wheel arches and an LED panel in the front. However, it has a number of original design refinements. For example, the design of the rear pillars and the characteristic aerodynamic protrusion on the fifth door.
The car received an 800-volt electrical system. The basic Zeekr 7X will be equipped with a battery that can be charged in 15 minutes to 80%, which will provide a range of up to 605 km. The electric car in a more “elegant” version will work with a 100 kW/h battery (range – up to 780 km).
The power unit from Zeekr 007, which can also be used in the 7X crossover, produces 416 hp in the rear-wheel drive version. The all-wheel drive version develops 636 hp.
Zeekr is preparing another electric novelty for Europe on the same platform – the 007 station wagon, which will differ from the updated sedan with the same index, most likely, only in the body type and design nuances.
