Bugatti has set the premiere of a new model for August, about which only the name is known for sure – Solitaire. The first videos dedicated to the new model have been published, but they do not give any idea of the design. Even the body type that this model will receive is unknown: according to one version, it will not become another hypercar.
Solitaire should be the first model developed by Bugatti’s new division for creating ultra-exclusive cars. It will be built in a single copy. The company describes the future new model as a triumph of grace and elegance, based on the craftsmanship and heritage of Bugatti.
According to one version, the platform of the current Tourbillon hypercar became the basis for Solitaire, and, accordingly, another hypercar is being prepared for its debut. However, the company claims that it has created something completely unique, and according to another hypothesis, Bugatti may be preparing a luxurious grand tourer with two rows of seats or even a crossover.
Judging by the teasers, the Solitaire will get a massive splitter combined with a large-cell radiator grille and a sloping roofline. There are no other details yet. At the same time, it is already known who will be the owner of the exclusive: the Solitaire was developed for Dutch businessman Michel Perridon, who is called the owner of the largest collection of Bugatti cars in the world.
Bugatti’s latest innovation is not a car. In collaboration with watchmaker Jacob&Co, the company’s designers have developed a table clock valued at $240,000.
