The American workshop GlasWerks DMV presented an unusual customization project for the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso coupe at the SEMA show. Designed for driving beyond paved roads, the custom-built car-called Elevato-boasts greater ground clearance than Ferrari’s factory crossover Purosangue (180 mm) and matches the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 with 230 mm. The workshop plans to produce such vehicles on a made-to-order basis, pricing their work from $175,000, not including the donor car.

Thanks to the tuners’ efforts, the coupe receives a completely new suspension with reinforced control arms, stabilizers, axles, and steering rods. It features adjustable MCS dampers and Eibach springs. The powertrain has also been modified: output from the 6.3-liter V12 engine has been increased from 680 to 758 horsepower, though the workshop hasn’t specified how this was achieved.

Among the exterior changes, the Elevato features a new front grille and alternative lighting, with performance improved by 30%. The “crossover” also includes auxiliary lights, an expedition roof rack, tow hooks, and protective skid plates. In addition, the car is equipped with a tire inflation system.
The workshop emphasized that they do not plan to produce collectible cars, but rather vehicles intended for regular, practical off-road use.
