Brazilian journalists have leaked official photos of the third-generation Compass crossover online. The new model has inherited the conservative style of the Jeep Avenger, an appearance without controversial elements, with traditional handles and mirrors. There are no technical details, but the model will be based on the STLA Medium platform, familiar from the Peugeot 3008 and Citroen C5 Aircross.
Lighting with LED running lights across the entire width of the body, unpainted body kit around the perimeter of the body, wear-resistant finishing materials in the cabin – Jeep designers tried to find a balance between practicality and fashion. Under the touchscreen of the media system, there are analog buttons and a washer, there are physical keys on the central tunnel.
A gasoline version, a plug-in hybrid and a “pure” electric vehicle are expected, and the key market for the Jeep Compass is Europe.
