The Seoul Mobility Show 2025 saw the premiere of the updated Hyundai Ioniq 6 and its conditionally sports derivative Ioniq 6 N Line. The electric sedan (Hyundai prefers the term electrified streamliner) was given a more balanced look, having come up with the Pure flow, Refined design concept for this. The black sill trim that goes onto the doors and the rejection of the spoiler on the rear window helped to visually lighten the silhouette – only the upturned “duck tail” remained.
In general, the sedan has gone a little into high-tech and, due to the new optics, which are also two-tiered, it began to look even more squat. The focus in the cabin has shifted to comfort and intuitive control, so the Ioniq 6 was presented with a new steering wheel, improved trim materials, a front panel with a modified architecture and an enlarged climate control display. The Ioniq 6 N Line has all the same features, which, according to the company, is the carrier of the RN22e prototype DNA. The electric car stands out with its more sculptural forms and a black-painted rear.
As a final chord, the Koreans also showed a teaser of the Ioniq 6 N (in the photo below, the “charged” electric car is hidden between the Ioniq 6 and the Ioniq 6 N Line). A full presentation of the model is scheduled for July, and there is a high probability that the “six” will get the Ioniq 5 N powertrain. The dual-motor system with an 84-kilowatt-hour battery on the hatchback develops 650 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate to the first “hundred” in 3.4 seconds.
