The Chinese brand shared pictures of the crossover, and at the same time, the main characteristics and overall dimensions appeared in the open database of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The “third” Changan CS75 Plus with internal factory code C928 will feature a design in the style of the Uni line and a completely new body, retaining the proven 1.5-liter BlueCore “turbo-four” in a boost version with 188 horsepower.
The 2024 Changan CS75 Plus is distinguished by its wheelbase stretched by nine centimeters (up to 2800 mm). The length increased by seven centimeters (to 4770 mm), the width became larger by 4.5 centimeters (1910 mm), but the height was reduced by one and a half centimeters (to 1695 mm). The proportions have changed, and the main markers of the new product are “secret” door handles and LED strips with luminous logos.
So far, two versions with 1.5-liter turbo engines have been certified, although the difference is small: the basic version will develop 188 horsepower, the optional one – 192 horsepower. There is no data yet on a 2.0-liter turbo engine, all-wheel drive versions or hybrids, although such modifications will likely appear over time. Wheels with a diameter of 18 to 20 inches are announced, and the advantage of the new product will be good approach/departure angles (20/25 degrees, respectively).
